Wearing the Perfect Wrinkle Free Clothes

Nobody wants to be out and about in their favorite seasonal outfit only to be noticed because of all the wrinkles in your clothes.

• For starters, when you iron your favorite garments always use starch to give them a more vibrant, crisp and healthier look.
• Temperature matters – You should never put on garments that are warm right out of the dryer or wet since both can cause items to wrinkle quickly while wearing
• Size and proper fit are a must do – Be sure when wearing your garments that they are not too tight. Garments that are too tight against your body actually cause your body to create what we could call all natural wrinkles in the garments. So be sure that your favorite clothing items fit nicely and are not too snug.

Keep Your Clothes Wrinkle Free When Hanging Them in Your Closet

There is nothing quite as frustrating as when you are in a hurry to get dressed only to head on over to your closet, pull out a garment and find that it is entirely wrinkled. To avoid this scenario, start by steering clear of wire hangers since they easily create wrinkles. When hanging clothes in the closet, place the hangers at least a good 2 inches apart from one another to avoid wrinkling. Be sure when laundering your items, they are completely dry before you hang them in your closet. Finally, make sure not to overstuff the space in your closet. When you cram in too many clothing items, they are sure to become wrinkled quickly and stay wrinkled.

How to Ensure Your Packed Items are Wrinkle Free

When travelling, its always nice to get to your destination and find that all your packed garments when unpacked, are not wrinkled. When packing, whether viscose, polyester or silk items, to name a few, roll each one of your clothing items from top down to the bottom and then place them alongside one another in your suitcase. This will certainly keep wrinkles from developing and keep you from having to iron while travelling. Also, it makes good sense that when packing, you include a small travel sized steamer which can be used to quickly remove any wrinkles that are present. It’s a small investment that helps save a good deal of time while keeping you looking your best.

Avoid Wrinkles from the Dryer

After laundering and drying your garments, be sure to take them out of the dryer as soon as the drying cycle is completed. If you notice any small wrinkles upon unloading them from the dryer, give them a quick shake to quickly remove unwanted wrinkles. After removing them from the dryer, hang them in your closet or fold and put them away immediately since this will serve to keep wrinkles from forming. Finally, it is important not to overload your dryer. When you stuff too many items into one drying cycle, wrinkles are sure to be an issue. Keep your laundry loads as light as possible.
